Kirkwood Timber Frame appoints Michael Harper as finance director

Aberdeenshire-based timber frame manufacturer and installer, Kirkwood Timber Frame, has appointed Michael Harper as finance director to support its growth strategy as it drives sustainable building and development across the UK, further supporting the journey to net zero.

Strengthening the leadership team, Michael will primarily focus on creating a strategic plan to accommodate the organisation’s predicted project pipeline, while liaising with stakeholders to ensure the business operates to its full potential.

A chartered accountant with more than 12 years’ experience in food manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and oil and gas sectors, Michael’s appointment follows Kirkwood Timber Frame’s extremely successful first two years in business, along with its recent expansion into England.

Michael said: “This is an extremely exciting time to be joining Kirkwood Timber Frame. We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment which enriches our capabilities and offerings to both builders and developers”.
