Aaron brings more than 17 years’ experience with sister company Kirkwood Homes to his new role, having progressed through a number of positions including Architectural Technologist, Land and Planning Manager and Technical Director. His experience across the housebuilding sector gives him a strong understanding of the technical, commercial and operational demands of the industry, which he will apply when leading the timber frame business.
Chris joined Kirkwood Homes as a Quantity Surveyor in 2021 and brings 12 years’ experience across the timber frame and wider construction industry. He moved to Kirkwood Timber Frame as Commercial Manager in 2025 and, in his new role as Operations and Commercial Director, will be responsible for the company’s commercial strategy and operational performance, overseeing estimating, pre-construction and site delivery to ensure projects are managed efficiently.
The appointments bolster the leadership team as Kirkwood Timber Frame builds on its established reputation for manufacturing timber kit homes and looks to support the growing demand for energy-efficient homes across Scotland.

The strengthened leadership team will support Kirkwood Timber Frame as it continues to develop its manufacturing capabilities, build on existing customer relationships and explore opportunities to support the delivery of new homes across Scotland.
Kirkwood Timber Frame has more than 40 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of timber frame kits. Originally established to support sister company Kirkwood Homes, the business has grown to work with developers and other customers across the UK.
