Welcome to the first Timber Times newsletter! Wow, where have the last 7 months gone?! Since our launch last August, Kirkwood Timber Frame has been a hive of activity and we are well on our way to establishing ourselves as a key supplier and partner for the manufacture of timber frame homes across the United Kingdom.

I'm extremely proud of the team we have assembled - their energy and enthusiasm is why we are already seeing real success in our expansion into the external housing market. I also want to extend a big thank you to customers who have supported us in our journey so far. We couldn't do this without you, and your support has been amazing.

We have started planning an official launch for our newly expanded factory in Sauchen, as we want to give our customers and partners a full tour of our new technology, and showcase how we craft our timber kits. Watch this space for updates coming soon...

Steven Robbie, Project Manager

Steven Robbie, Project Manager

Steven started his career in the construction industry in his hometown of Forfar, working at a truss manufacturing plant as a Trainee Truss Technician.

He joined us in October 2021 to head up our technical team and brings over 22 years’ experience to his role as Project Manager.

Steven is passionate about the training and development of younger members of staff and passing on knowledge to the wider team to enable them to progress. He’s also very focused on customer service and quality, striving to be known as the best to deal with and always providing a top quality product and service.

When he’s not involved in all things timber frame, he enjoys the great outdoors - running, cycling and hillwalking - that’s when his son and daughter let him out of course!

The home of your timber frame journey
