We are delighted to have been accepted to the small list of timber frame manufacturers in Scotland, which have achieved the NHBC Accepts standard for our FastBuild® Closed Panel System.
We are one of only 10 timber frame manufacturers across the UK – and only four in Scotland - to secure this benchmark.
NHBC Accepts is a comprehensive review system for innovative products, which builds confidence in the use of offsite construction techniques among developers, manufacturers, and end users.
Our timber frame system has been rigorously reviewed over the past six months by the NHBC, which involved the scrutiny of the detailing, structural integrity, thermal performance, condensation risk, and fire resistance of our system, in conjunction with the review of our factory production controls and site installation procedures.

“As we expand to deliver projects south of the border, NHBC Accepts is crucial for timber frame construction in England because it provides a certified stamp of approval and authority to use our timber frame products.
“It proves that our systems have been critically assessed and can meet the robust NHBC Standards. It also demonstrates that, subject to appropriate design and installation, the system can be used in homes covered by all NHBC warranty.
“In addition, it helps to dispel the common preconceived myths around this Modern Method of Construction (MMC) including:

Durability
Design flexibility
Increased risk of condensation
Difficulty in securing a mortgage.

“Achieving this accreditation is proof that MMC, such as timber frame, are rightly beginning to receive the validation and accreditation required to increase their use in construction in England - and the delivery of much needed housing at pace.”
